This course is informed and enriched both by the expertise of academic staff and by the experience of practitioners in our field (including our many alumni doing relevant work), and you will be able to access and learn from both. To encourage this, the programme cultivates the ethos of an engaging and inclusive learning community that is responsive to different learning styles, and allows each participant to develop to their full potential. Specialist support is available throughout the course from Career and Employability Services including help to find part-time work while studying, placements, vacation work and graduate vacancies. The programme has been designed with reference to relevant professional standard frameworks in the fields of peace, conflict and development. By the end of your studies you will have developed a portfolio of work that demonstrates your competencies. You’ll be well-placed to access a range of career opportunities, both in further academic research and in peace and conflict work at local, national and international levels.
